The staff of Employee Benefit Services focus on assisting you in understanding and maximizing the benefits programs offered to you. Our mission is customer based and service oriented. We offer individualized, quality customer service to employees and retirees. NEW Tobacco Premium Program for UT SELECT members begins September 1, 2012
Starting September 1, 2012, UT System will implement the Tobacco Premium Program (TPP) in the UT SELECT Medical plan. The TPP is an out-of-pocket premium surcharge of $30 per month for any tobacco user who is enrolled in the UT SELECT Medical plan. A tobacco user is any person who has used tobacco products within the past sixty (60) days. This program is being implemented because the use of tobacco is one of the leading preventable health risks worldwide, and the use of tobacco is inconsistent with UT System's culture of wellness. Annual Enrollment 2012
Annual Enrollment will begin on July 15, 2012, and end on July 31, 2012. During this period, you can:
- Make changes to your benefits;
- Enroll in UT FLEX (employees only);
- Request new coverage for eligible dependents; and/or
- Remove ineligible dependents from the program.
