Online Graduation Application Deadline for Spring 2012 Graduation is January 25, 2012. Deadline for Summer 2012 Graduation is June 11, 2012. Late Applicants please see your Academic Advisor. There will be a $100 late fee for late applications.

If you are unable to connect:

1. Make sure you are accepting the UTD Certificate.
2. Please connect to the UTD VPN and then apply.
3. If you are off campus use the following to login:
 User Name: CAMPUS\yournetid  Password: yournetidpassword
4. Make sure once logged in you use the last 8 digits of your UTD-ID found on your comet card.

Graduate Students, apply here!You will get a popup requesting you to enter your user id and password. (web application form instructions)

FAQs:

* If you get the message 'The UTD-ID you entered did not match the NetID on File.' It means that you do not have a MAILING address in Orion. You may have a HOME address or other addresses but you do not have an address marked MAILING. To resolve this issue please do the following:

  1. Go to Orion and click on Self Service.
  2. Click on Student Center
  3. Go down to Personal Information
  4. Open the Drop Down Window and choose Addresses  (takes you to a new page)
  5. Click ADD new address
  6. Click SAVE.
  7. It will ask what type. Select Mail.
  8. Save changes.
  9. Allow overnight for the update to take effect, then apply again on-line. 

* If you get an Invalid Certificate error in IE or Firefox, please continue through to the application. The UTD certificate is current and valid. The certificate handling is managed differently between various browsers. For UTD desktops, the Certificate Authority (CA) is automatically added as trusted. For non-UTD desktops, you must accept the certificate.

REGALIA

    PURCHASE:

  • Ph.D Purchase: $784 (plus tax, Ph.D Hood Purchase: $140 (plus tax)
  • Visit http://www.oakhalli.com/universityoftexasatdallas/ to place order (available Feb 13, 2012)
  • Purchase regalia order deadline - April 5, 2012 (takes between 4-6 weeks to make). If a student would like to purchase one after this date, they will have to call Oakhall Customs Department at 1-800-223-0429.

    RENTAL:

  • Rental: $201 (no tax, and the hood & tam are included in this price)
  • Visit http://www.oakhalli.com/universityoftexasatdallas/ to place order (available Feb 13, 2012)
  • Return rental gowns to bookstore representative at hooding ceremony or to the UTD Bookstore by May 23. This date is for faculty and students.
  • April 24, 2012 - Deadline for rental regalia orders for Students. April 25, 2012 - Deadline for rental regalia orders for Faculty (form available beginning March).
  • STUDENT RENTAL orders placed between April 25, 2012 and May 7, 2012 will pay a $50 shipping fee. FACULTY RENTAL orders placed after April 26 will pay a $45 shipping fee.
